Nestled near Montalcino, this boutique hotel is a refreshing escape in Val D'Orcia that offers a fine balance of luxury and value. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink and a delightful platter from Vito, the attentive property manager, who also provided excellent dining recommendations. Our room was remarkably spacious, boasting a large bathroom that set a new standard for hotel facilities. The air conditioning kept us comfortable, and the complimentary Wi-Fi made it easy to plan our next outing. The property's peaceful ambiance made lounging by the seasonal outdoor pool a serene experience, complemented by the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. Breakfast was abundant, offering enough options to kickstart our day. While we enjoyed the delectable set menu for dinner-particularly under the starry sky paired with robust local wines-the wellness spa was a nice touch. Just be patient with the sauna as it takes a little time to heat up. For anyone contemplating a stay, this hotel provides luxury without excessive cost. It's a perfect base for exploring Tuscany's fashion and culinary gems. I look forward to a return visit.
