Nestled near Montalcino, this boutique hotel is a refreshing escape in Val D’Orcia that offers a fine balance of luxury and value. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a complimentary drink and a delightful platter from Vito, the attentive property manager, who also provided excellent dining recommendations. Our room was remarkably spacious, boasting a large bathroom that set a new standard for hotel facilities. The air conditioning kept us comfortable, and the complimentary Wi-Fi made it easy to plan our next outing. The property's peaceful ambiance made lounging by the seasonal outdoor pool a serene experience, complemented by the stunning views of the surrounding vineyards. Breakfast was abundant, offering enough options to kickstart our day. While we enjoyed the delectable set menu for dinner—particularly under the starry sky paired with robust local wines—the wellness spa was a nice touch. Just be patient with the sauna as it takes a little time to heat up. For anyone contemplating a stay, this hotel provides luxury without excessive cost. It’s a perfect base for exploring Tuscany’s fashion and culinary gems. I look forward to a return visit.
